Every contractor says they do quality work. That is not useful to you. What is useful is knowing how a company actually operates, so you can tell whether it fits what you need.
Here is ours, including the parts where we are not the right answer.
We have been doing only this since 1999
AquaReale builds and services ponds and water features. That is the whole business. We are not a landscaping company that also does ponds, and we are not a pool company that branched out.
That matters more than it sounds. A pond is a living system with biology, hydraulics and filtration that all have to balance. Most of the failed ponds we get called to renovate were built by good landscapers who understood stone and plants but not water chemistry or flow rates.
We serve a tight geography on purpose
Philadelphia, Bucks, Montgomery, Delaware and Chester counties in Pennsylvania, plus Camden, Burlington and Gloucester counties in South Jersey.
We stay inside that radius because pond service means coming back. Spring openings, fall shutdowns, the occasional emergency when a pump fails in August. A company that will drive two hours for the install will not drive two hours for the service call, and you find that out at the worst possible moment.
We will tell you not to do it
The most common call we get is somebody who wants a pond because they saw one they liked. Sometimes the honest answer is that the site is wrong, the budget does not match the vision, or what they actually want is a disappearing waterfall with none of the fish-keeping.
We would rather have that conversation on the phone for free than build you something you end up resenting. Consultations by phone cost nothing and we do not send a salesperson to sit in your kitchen.
Our pricing is published
Cleanouts start at $175, with large ponds running $275 to $400. Full pricing is on our pricing page rather than hidden behind a form.
Installs and renovations genuinely cannot be priced from a web page, because the range is enormous and depends on site access, grade, existing conditions and what you want. For those we will talk through scope on the phone and give you a real number rather than a teaser figure that climbs later.
What we are not the right fit for
- Pure DIY support. We are happy to answer a question, but we do not sell parts or consult by the hour on self-builds.
- The absolute lowest bid. We build with full filtration and proper excavation, and that is not the cheapest way to put water in a yard.
- Work far outside our service area. We will refer you rather than overextend.
- Pools and spas. Different trade entirely.
What happens when you call
You talk to someone who builds ponds, not a call center. We ask what you have, what is wrong with it or what you want instead, and roughly what you are prepared to spend. If it is a fit, we schedule a site visit. If it is not, we say so.
Get in touch or look through the portfolio first if you would rather see the work before talking to anyone.
