The natural grade change on these lots lets us design 25 to 50 feet of moving water from a hillside source into a 12-to-18-foot ecosystem pond. Aquatic plantings, natural fieldstone edging, and LED underwater and pathway lighting turn the feature into a year-round centerpiece — one that reads especially well in the evening from a patio or three-season room.

East Whiteland Township enforces its own setback and stormwater rules; larger properties in the Great Valley or near Valley Creek's headwaters may require additional Chester County Conservation District review. We map it and pull the ordinance as part of design.
