We use rock with mica and quartz — the character of local Chester County geology — rather than importing something that reads as foreign.

Permitting: most residential ponds are exempt from a Chester County building permit, but properties in the Brandywine Conservancy watershed or in an Act 167 stormwater district may need additional review.
